Rental Options and Locations
Motorcycle rental services are available in various locations across Scotland. We are based in Glasgow but can deliver to Edinburgh or other Scottish towns for an additional fee ensuring you can rent a motorcycle anywhere in Scotland
Types of Motorcycle rentals
You can rent various types of motorcycles, from adventure bikes such as our Triumph Tiger 1200's to sports tourers like the Triumph Tiger Sport 660's and others from CFMOTO and Royal Enfield
All motorbikes are well-equipped for Scotland's diverse terrain, with most offering features like ABS brakes, heated grips, and of course all come with luggage and pannier liners.
Rental Periods and Costs
Rental periods typically start can be as little as one day for those joining our day ride outs that are very popular with cruise ship passengers and can extend to several weeks for those wanting to explore further. The cost varies depending on the bike model and rental duration. For example, a weekly rates start around £675, with discounts available for longer rentals.
Insurance and Roadside Assistance
Our rental packages include comprehensive insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. This ensures peace of mind while you explore Scotland's roads
- Unless agreed specifically with the hirer, Solo Riders must be aged over 25 and under 75 and have a minimum of 2 years riding on a similar motorcycle to the one being hired.
- Unless agreed specifically with the hirer, Riders with Pillion must be aged over 35 and under 70 and have a minimum of 3 years riding on a similar motorcycle to the one being hired.
- Any rider over the age of 65 may be asked to provide a medical statement confirming their physical and mental fitness to ride.
- Riders of any bike greater than 750cc must be over 30 years of age with a minimum of 3 years riding experience.
- Riders with licenses issued in UK and EU will be accountable for an insurance excess up to £2000.
- Riders with licenses issued in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA will be accountable for an insurance excess up to £2500.
- Riders holding a license issued by any other country will be accessed individually.
Equipment and Accessories
Most renters bring their own helmets and riding gear but for those who prefer we also hire motorcycle jackets, trousers, boots, gloves and helmets (with or without intercom, and GPS navigation is available on most bikes.
Booking and Requirements
Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak tourist seasons from April to September. To reserve your motorcycle, chose your preferred model, check availability, and complete the order. You will not be charged until we check that you have a valid motorcycle license and conform with the age restrictions and riding experience above.
